Interesting the Moon card came out today as there is a New Moon
so how appropriate that we have a New Moon and an opportunity to set intentions and make resolutions.
The New Moon on Friday the 11th is a better time to make resolutions than January 1. (A second chance!) The New Moon is real and the Moon affects us. Use this time to think about where you want to make changes or introduce improvements. INTERPRETATION; Recognize and value your emotions knowing that they are a pathway to your soul. Ask for help if you are feeling overwhelmed today. Be gentle with yourself, your feelings. Everyone feels vulnerable at certain times in their lives. Learn to receive without guilt. You are not weak if you require extra support and nurturing today. You are allowing another to give. This is a gift in itself.

ACTION: Before reaching for the chocolate bar, what other creative forms are there to self- nurture? Pack up a picnic and go to the park, remember to pack some extra food to feed the birds. Go to the movies, drink a cup of hot chocolate at a cozy coffee shop, get a pedicure, make a hot cup of soothing herbal tea then settle down and read a good book. O.K., if you don’t feel inspired by all the above - the chocolate bar! But don’t feel guilty about it. You deserve to be nurtured.

Renewal is all about regenerating, revitalizing and replenishing the areas of your life which call for it the most. As this is relating to the first chakra centre, it is now a survival issue that you restore balance to the areas in your life which have been overlooked or neglected for a while. Take steps to bring your physical body into balance through stepping back and placing more focus on a sense of deep renewal. Allow your life to come into equilibrium through taking a more balanced approach in the area of your basic physical needs. Rest, rest, rest!!!

ACTION: A total revamp may be in order. Focus on the main things you would like to change about your life, body, immediate environment, diet or exercise routine. Make a plan to integrate these changes into your life on a daily basis. Focus on renewal and letting go everything (and everyone) which drains you. Then take some quality timeout for yourself and REST.

Relationships thrive on harmonious surroundings and emotional states. Simply being in tune with your partner’s needs and emotions brings a state of harmony into the relationship. Harmony in relationships is like a smooth road. The smoother the surface of the road is, the smoother the journey. What state is your road in? Are there potholes which need fixing? Are the boundaries in tact allowing an easy transition on all entries and exits? Do you travel too quickly to enjoy the scenery along the way? Or, are you going too slowly to keep up with your partner? Your role today, is to bring more harmony into all of your relationships through smoothing out any bumps you have neglected, any situations you need to resolve in a gentle, loving way.
